How does the test work?

  1. Every night our engine picks codes and runs a real checkout test at the store, with a real product in the cart.
  2. The code is applied exactly like you would do it. The store checkout answers whether the code is valid and how big the discount is.
  3. The result is logged with a date and the discount seen. Codes that repeatedly fail get reviewed and removed. We never complete a purchase.

Honesty in the fine print

Some codes cannot be machine-tested: they require membership, a newsletter signup or a minimum order. Those are labeled conditional instead of being condemned, and our editors still verify codes manually as before.

A code that worked last night can be exhausted today, campaigns close without notice. The date on every test shows exactly how fresh the verdict is, and we never hide when a test is missing.
